2010 Supervisor
of the Year - Billy Keadle
Billy Keadle was hired as a police officer in 2001 after 7 years of service with Bedford PD. He has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarrant County College. He has served as a Field Training Officer, a member of the Hurst Tactical Team and as a Detective until his promotion to Sergeant in 2009. He is currently the department's Tactical Team Leader and Traffic Unit supervisor. Billy is married, has three children and one grandson. Congratulations Billy!
2010 Officer of the Year - Mark Bruner
Mark Bruner was born in Texas, but raised in Carbondale, Illinois. He came back to Texas in 2001 to attend college at Abilene Christian University. He graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and was hired by Hurst Police Department right after graduating. Mark is a Crime Scene Officer, Drug Recognition Expert, Hostage Negotiator, Intoxilyzer Operator, Patrol Training Officer, and TCLEOSE instructor. His hobbies include jogging and trying different restaurants with friends. Mark is married to Cassie. Congratulations Mark!
2010 Civilian
of the Year - Robert Bryan
Robert Bryan grew up in Hurst and graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 2002. He started working for the Hurst Police Department in 2004 as a Detention Officer then in 2006 moved to the position of Public Service Officer. Robert is also trained as a Dispatcher. He married his wife Candice in 2009. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and anything involving the outdoors. Robert hopes to become a Police Officer in the near future. Congratulations Robert!
2010 Rookie
of the Year - Miguel Jimenez
Miguel Jimenez grew up in San Antonio, TX and graduated in 1995 from Breckenridge High School. He joined the US Navy after high school and served for 7 ½ years. He was hired by the Hurst Police Department in 2007 and is currently in patrol. Miguel is currently attending Norwood University to complete his degree in marketing and business management. He met his wife in the Navy and they have four wonderful children. Miguel enjoys watching movies, playing sports and spending time with his family. Congratulations Miguel and welcome to the Hurst Police Department!
