Payment Methods
Utility bills may be paid using cash, check, money order, automatic
bank draft or by online payment.
The City accepts
credit and debit cards for payment.
Beginning November 1, 2004 the maximum amount that may be charged to a credit card is $500.00.
Bills may either be mailed using the return envelope included with
the statement, paid at the customer service window inside City Hall,
or at the drive through window (located on the East side of City
Hall, 1505 Precinct Line Road). The Utility Billing offices are
open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. For your
convenience a drop box is located next to the drive through window
for after hours payments.

Automatic Bank Draft
To pay your utility bill by automatic bank draft, your account
must not have a prior balance and you must have registered for this
service. To register for automatic bank draft please fill out and
sign the Authorization
Agreement for Direct Debits form then mail your completed form
along with a voided check to : City of Hurst Utility Billing, 1505
Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76054.
After registering for automatic bank draft, your payment will be
automatically transferred from your banking account every month
on the day your bill is due. You will still receive a utility bill
each month, which shows the date and amount your banking account
will be drafted . Once your utility account has been set up on automatic
bank draft your bills will state "Do not pay. Your account
will be drafted." If you have any questions, please call

Late Payment Information
Utility bills are due two weeks after issuance. Payments made after
this deadline are assessed a 10% late fee that will be added to
the next month's billing statement.
