Where do I go to get someone out of jail / holding facility?

The Hurst Jail/Holding Facility, 1501 Precinct Line Rd., Hurst, takes care of all release processes including bonds and cash payments for fines. For more information please go here.

What do I do to take care of a ticket?

The Municipal Court, located inside the Hurst City Hall building, will handle any type of process pertaining to Citations issued by Hurst Police Officers.

Where do I go to get an accident or offense report?

Police reports are available for purchase at the Hurst Police Department's Front Lobby, 1501 Precinct Line Road, next to City Hall. (Accident reports = $6.00, offense reports and information reports = $.10 per page)

How do I report a crime?

If it is an emergency, call 911. For non-emergency service, please call (817) 788-7180. Citizens now have the ability to file a crime report online. This service is provided for your convenience to report certain types of non-emergency crimes or incidents. Go here to use the service.

Where do I renew my driver license?

Please contact the Texas Department of Public Safety http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/ for information on driver license and ID card renewals.

Do I need an alarm permit?

Both residential alarms and businesses with alarms are required to have a permit. On November 23, 2004, the Hurst City Council approved to amend Hurst Ordinance, Chapter 12, Article VI (Alarm Permits) to include residential locations.
