The Hurst Fire Department and Police Community Services are working together to provide a better quality of life to Hurst residents who have a special need. Several fans have been generously donated to the fire department to be delivered to residents that do not have air conditioning. If you know of someone that lives in Hurst and needs special assistance due to the heat (especially seniors or small children), contact Patty Gurley at 817.788.7238 or Evelyn McAmis at 817.788.7342.
We can deliver a fan and have members of the COPS program check on their welfare. We're doing more to make life better for you.
