1. Where do I report my street light is out?
To report problems with traffic signals or street lights, please contact the Street Department Traffic Division at (817) 788-7208.
All street light outages will be forwarded to Oncor for repair.
Street light outages can also be reported directly to Oncore by calling 1-888-313-4747 or online at the Oncor web site.

2. Where do I pay a ticket? Where is Municipal Court?
Hurst Municipal Court is located within Hurst City Hall, 1505 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas, 76054. The City Hall complex is easily accessible on the northwest corner of the intersection of Precinct Line Road with Airport Freeway, which is also known as State Highway 121/183. [click for map]

3. Does Hurst have a Teen Curfew?
Curfew hours for minors under the age of seventeen (17) are 11:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday nights and midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

4. Where is the Water Department?
The Water Business Office is located within Hurst City Hall, 1505 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas, 76054. The City Hall complex is easily accessible on the northwest corner of the intersection of Precinct Line Road with Airport Freeway, which is also referred to as State Highway 121/183.

5. Where do I get my car registered?

7. Do I need a permit for a garage sale?
Permits are NOT required for Garage Sales in Hurst. However, households are not permitted to hold more than two (2) garage sales within a year, and sales are not allowed to be more than three (3) days in duration.

8. Where do I get a marriage license?
Marriage licenses may be obtained at the Northeast Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse at 645 Grapevine Highway in Hurst or at the Tarrant County Vital Records Division, 200 Taylor address, suite 301 in Downtown Fort Worth. [click for Tarrant County Vital Records]

9. Where do I get an accident report?
Accident reports are available from the Records Division located off the Front Lobby of the Hurst Police Department, 1501 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas. Such information may be obtained from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day of the week. The charge is $6.00 per copy.

10. Does the city have a Job Line number?

11. Where do I get a Birth Certificate or Death Certificate?
On September 16, 2002 records of births and deaths which occurred within the corporate city limits of Hurst were transferred to the Tarrant County Clerks Office for Vital Statistics, Tarrant County Courthouse, Fort Worth, Texas. [click for Tarrant County Vital Records]

Birth Certificates are available at the main Tarrant County Courthouse downtown Ft. Worth, but the Office for Vital Statistics has moved to a new location. The new address is 200 Taylor, Suite 301, Ft. Worth, TX 76102. The direct line is 817-884-1550.

Birth records from elsewhere in Texas may be obtained, in addition to the neighboring cities of Bedford and NRH, from the Northeast Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse location at 645 Grapevine hwy in Hurst. The phone number for the Hurst office is 817-581-3605.

Death records are also available at the Northeast Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse offices.
