Hurst Pride and Business Awards
 Each year the City recognizes Hurst businesses through the Hurst Pride and Business Awards.
The City encourages residents, businesses, property owners, visitors and customers to nominate local businesses. Businesses can be nominated in multiple categories if they comply with the standards listed below.
Hurst Pride Awards honor examples of design and landscaping
excellence, style and aesthetics, creative use of building materials, and a
commitment to maintenance.

The Hurst Business Awards are determined by the Economic Development Advisory Committee. These awards recognize companies in the following categories:
- Longevity - This award is for a long-term continuously operated,
successful business within Hurst.
- Image Enhancement - This award is for a local business that has a
major presence in Hurst and displays a quality image throughout
the community. The business’ image is a positive reflection on the
City and enhances the City’s image and reputation.
- Quality Service - This award is for a local business that exhibits a
customer service ethic beyond the standards of normal business
operations. These businesses consistently do everything possible to
meet your needs as a customer.
- Marketing Success - This award is for a business that has had great
success in marketing or selling its product or service.
- Renovation/Revitalization - This award is for a local business that
has made a major commitment in staying competitive through
renovation of a building or business.
- Entrepreneur Award - This award is for a business or individual
that has created a successful new business, expanded an existing
business, expanded into new markets from an existing base, and/or
exhibited leadership, innovation, and an entrepreneurial, can-do
spirit in the conduct of the business.
