Registration:
First, stop by the Hurst Recreation Center (700 Mary Drive) to set up your account. You will need to bring your

  • Your photo ID and
  • Hurst Water bill or
  • Hurst property tax statement, or
  • Hurst apartment lease

as proof of Hurst residency to receive the Hurst resident rates. Once you have activated your account and received your user name and password, you will be able to use the online registration feature.

Who Can Sign-up?
Both Hurst residents and Non-residents can sign up for online registration.

Call the Recreation Center at 817-788-7325

Account Status:
Both Hurst residents and Non-residents will need to come back in each year to confirm their residence.

Program Availability:
The City's entire list of available programs is published in Hurst Happenings, our recreation brochure. At times, there may be a change made to a class after the brochure has been published. Please check the Recreation Schedule Changes page link to verify the status of your class. Non-residents pay an additional $2 fee per each class.
The Recreation Schedule Changes page will only be used if a class is cancelled, changed, or added. This will be done on a case-by-case basis.

Secure Online Payment:
The only accepted forms of online payment are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. The City of Hurst uses the latest encryption technology - provided by Veri-Sign to protect your transaction. Partial payments are not accepted: if you elect to use the online system, you must pay your entire balance at the time of registration. Your card will only be charged if you complete the transaction and receive a verification message. Be sure to print a receipt for your records.

If you do not have (or prefer not to use) a credit card, you may register in person at the Hurst Recreation Center, located at 700 Mary Drive. For more information please call, (817) 788-7325.

Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations and refunds cannot be processed online. If you have an unforeseen circumstance and cannot attend your class, we will gladly refund your fee with 72 hours notice prior to the class start date. Please call the Hurst Recreation Center at (817) 788-7325 for information about how to submit a cancellation or refund request.

If the City or instructor cancels a class, the participants will be contacted and will be issued a refund or transferred to a new class.

You can access the City's online recreation program registration system now, or read Where We Live - the City's recreation brochure - for details on registering offline. You can also download and print our registration form (pdf - 112kb) for submission by mail, fax or in person.
