These changes will allow the City of Hurst to continue to provide the services of the Brookside Center to the public at very reasonable rental rates. Please contact us at (817) 788-7320 if you need further information.
Please note that no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility or on the premises, including the parking areas. Additionally, the use of any tobacco products is prohibited in the Center. Room set-up and clean-up are the responsibility of the renter.

The Hurst Recreation Center, 700 Mary Drive, is available for rental when scheduled activities are not in session. The following time slots are available:

A refundable $50 damage deposit is required for room reservations. Reservations must be made in person. All rental fees must be paid in full at the time of reservation. All reservations must be made in person at the Recreation Department office during regular business hours (Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m and Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) A complete list of rental Policies and Procedures will be provided at the time of the reservation.

Park Pavilions All pavilions are under the jurisdiction of the Hurst
Parks and Recreation Department and may be reserved on a space available
basis by individuals, organizations, and churches for a fee of $35.00
per pavilion. The park pavilions can be used for activities such as company picnics
or family reunions.
A $50 refundable electrical key deposit is also
required at the time of reservation.

2200 Norwood (Between Harwood and Grapevine Highway) – Chisholm Park has three pavilions to choose from, including the Tejas, Longhorn, and Bluebonnet. Each comes equipped with picnic tables and a grill.Echo Hills Pavilion:
500 Heneretta (East of Hurstview, South of Evergreen) – This pavilion is located in Echo Hills Park and holds approximately 35-40 people. It comes equipped with 3 picnic tables.Hurst Community Park Pavilion:
601 Precinct Line Road ((South of Pipeline) – This pavilion is located in Hurst Community Park and holds approximately 35-40 people. It comes equipped with 3 picnic tables.Redbud Park Pavilion:
525 Redbud Drive (Between Hurstview & Precinct Line) – This pavilion is located in Redbud Park and holds approximately 35-40 people. It comes equipped with 3 picnic tables.Rickel Park Pavilions: (2)
1001 Bluebonnet (Just North of Hwy. 10) – Rickel Park has two pavilions, the Spindletop and Lonestar. Each holds approximately 35-40 people and comes equipped with 3 picnic tables.Smith Barfield Park Pavilion:
Tthis pavilion is located in Smith Barfield Park and holds approximately 35-40 people. It comes equipped with 3 picnic tables.Vivagene Copeland Park:
This pavilion is located in Vivagene Copeland Park and holds approximately 34-50 people. It comes equipped with 3 picnic tables.
