Was bid June 2010 and awarded after TxDOT approval in November 2010. Construction began February 2011 and is 70% complete.

Bellaire Phase 3 (35th Yr CDBG)
Pecan to Greenway

Was bid by Tarrant County and awarded in July 2010. Construction began February 2011 and is 90% complete.

Calloway Channel
Arcadia St. to Melbourne Rd.

The City is in the final design stages of a stream bank rehabilitation project along Calloway channel.

Northeast Tarrant Express

TxDOT is expanding Airport Fwy and 820 from I-35W to the eastern limits of Tarrant County.  City utility relocations are required and are currently under construction.

Michael St. Reconstruction (500 block) Wanda Way to Bluebonnet

This project includes paving, draining, water and sanitary sewer improvements. Will begin construction in 2012.

Bellaire Phase 1 (City only)
Greenway to SH 10 (E. Hurst Blvd)

The City of Hurst, North Central Texas Council of Governments, and TxDOT are working together on a street reconstruction and Safe Routes to School project on Bellaire Dr. from E. Pecan to SH 10 (E. Hurst Blvd).
Construction on Phase I is complete.

Redbud Reconstruction
(500 block) (34th Yr CDBG)

This project will include paving, draining, water and sanitary sewer improvements. The project was bid by Tarrant County and awarded in July 2010. Construction is complete.

20th Year Storm Drain Improvements

City is currently designing various improvements throughout the City. Phase 1 was designed as Lingston Dr. and was bid in January 2011. Construction is complete.

S. Precinct Line Rd. Sewer
SH 10 to FW City Limits

The City of Hurst relocated a 12” sewer for a joint Ft. Worth-TxDOT project.  The project was bid and construction completed November 2011.

2008 Residential Water Replacement

Construction began in January 2010 andwas completed July 2010.
