Wan-ka-kani Park signWan-Ka-Kani Park

Wan-Ka-Kani Park is located in the Southwest part of Hurst at 748 Shadylane. This park sits Picnic table at Wan-Ka-Kani Parkon 4.1 acres and was established in 1976. Wan-Ka-Kani got it's name from and Indian word for "to be outdoors." The park was originally used as a bird and wildlife sanctuary. Many varieties of birds and wildlife still make their home there today. Wan-Ka-kani is open daily from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
