The
Parks Division is responsible for providing the citizens of Hurst
with the highest possible level of service regarding design, development,
operation, and maintenance of all park and outdoor municipal properties.
Responsibilities of the Parks Division include: the scheduling for
maintenance and installation of improvements at all park, recreational
and outdoor municipal facilities, and the ongoing maintenance of
medians, water distribution centers, and public rights-of-way.

This guide was developed by the Hurst Parks and Recreations Department
to help the residents of Hurst identify, select, plant and care
for trees around their homes. Trees help provide a quality of life
in Hurst second to none. Please plant trees to continue that quality
of life Hurst is known for.
