Central Park

Central Park is located in South Hurst in the 700 block of Mary Drive. Established in 1955 it is made up of 17.5 acres of park land and is home to the Hurst Recreation Center, the Central Aquatics Center, and the Tennis Center. Central Park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Central Park has 1 pavilion available for rental to the public. This pavilion holds approximately 35-40 people and comes equipped with 3 picnic tables. All pavilions are under the jurisdiction of the Hurst Parks and Recreation Department and may be reserved on a space available basis by individuals, organizations, and churches for a fee of $35.00 per pavilion. All reservations must be made in person at the Recreation Department office during regular business hours (Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m and Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
