The City of Hurst strives to keep our residents and businesses
informed on local issues that directly involve them. The Communications Division produces numerous special publications including the Annual Report, Business Guide, Water Quality Report, and Where We Live, a city-wide quarterly magazine including recreation schedules. It also manages the City of Hurst's official Web site, Transforming Hurst website and HurstED, the Economic Development website.

With the CodeRed Emergency Notification System the City of Hurst now has the ability to notify the entire City or only the affected areas of the City about emergency situations in a matter of minutes. The system is available to all Hurst residents free of charge.
