The Finance Department is responsible for the administration of the City's financial affairs in accordance with ordinances enacted by the City Council. Finance provides accounting control over the finances of the City, collects and disburses all City funds, invests idle funds until needed, manages the City's debt service obligations, and administers the City's self insurance program. Finance is also responsible for the preparation of the City's annual budget and consolidated annual financial report.
